How It Works

Customer Provides Card Info Over the phone or in writing (via mail, invoice, etc.), the customer shares their credit/debit card details. Merchant Enters Info Manually You (or your staff) input the card data into a virtual terminal or payment portal provided by your merchant processor. Processor Requests Authorization The transaction is submitted through the card network (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) to the issuing bank for approval. Transaction Approved/Declined The result returns in seconds. If approved, the funds are queued for deposit. Settlement and Funding Like other payment types, funds typically hit your account within 1–2 business days.

Settlement: Funds are eventually transferred (typically in 1–2 business days) from the customer’s account to the merchant’s merchant account or bank account.
